email download status display?

How can I have OL show me the % of emails downloaded or at least give me
some indication that it is downloading. When I hit Send/Rcv now window
pops up...sometimes. When it doesnt I have not idea what the status is.
Before I went to the Work Group OL configuration I used to get a status in
the lower right window with % complete. How can i get that back?

View>Status Bar

there is no selection in Views for status bar. Maybe I should mention this
is OL2000. Maybe it doesnt have it.

I just checked an OL 2000 machine. "Status Bar" is the last item on the
View menu. Make sure, if you're using smart menus, that you click on the
down arrow at the bottom of the menu in order to show the entire menu.

OK...I have Status bar selected in menu and showing on bottom , not no
status shows up of right side of bard to indicate downloading or % complete.
Sometimes I get a window that pops up when message are downloading. i was
hoping for the status bar info to show. Any idea how to make it show?
