email errors

When I am trying to receive emails, the process is slow and eventually I get
an error message and then no more emails download. Is this because of the
service provider interruption?

It really depends upon the error message. The error message is the key to
why you can't receive email. Please post it in its entirety. Please also
include your version of Outlook.
