Need more specifics:
In what format do you send it?
In what format do they receive it?
What type of mail server on your end? Exchange, pop3, Imail?
What type of mail protocol do your recipients use?

Are any of these recipients in your Contact List? If so, open one of their
Contact forms and double-click the e-mail address. Make sure it's set to
"Let Outlook decide the best sending format".

Yes you certainly have Outlook set to send in RTF (which is not real
RTF, only an MicrobeSoft kind of RTF, as always, nothing standard).
RTF is not correctly interpreted by recipient mail applications.
Even on the Mac which is supposedly also using RTF ("real" RTF though)
it's not correctly displayed.

You have to check two things in Outlook 2007:
1- Avoid RTF for all emails
Tools->Options->Mail Format (tab)
Select Plain Text or HTML (not Rich Text)
Click the Internet Format button
Select "Convert to HTML format" or "Plain Text Format"

but knowing how MicrobeSoft does things, that's not enough.
Some emails can totally ignore those settings no matter what.

Now you have to check that your individual contacts don't "override"
them.

For each of your contacts receiving emails in RTF or a stupid
winmail.dat file attached to their mails do the following:

2- Go to your outlook "Contacts" list
Open EACH contact having an email address
Double-click the email address itself
Select "Let Outlook decide the best sending format" or
"Send Plain Text only"

Yes, you have to verify each of your existing contacts. Stupid huh?

The rules defined under point "1- " will be used for NEW contacts as
you create them. But existing ones may all be overriding them.

I moved from Palm Desktop to Outlook 2007 last year and had to change
those settings MANUALLY for 430 contacts. I was very happy...
At least MicrobeSoft had the decency NOT to name Outlook 2007
something like "Professional".

Could you be more explicit in describing the symptoms? Include your Outlook
version as well and state in what format you're sending the messages.
