Hi All,
Not really an outlook question but I didn't know where else to post this.
We send out emails every hour as a "round trip test". This is to test for
email issues in case anyone complains that mail is slow. all we do is send a
message to a yahoo account and have that forward the message back into a
shared mailbox. we can then see how log it took to come back in and if
excessive we can analyse if the problem was inside or outside the business.
As part of the reports I produce I have been asked if I can report on the
time the mail took through various hops.
I can do this for a one off no problem by using an email header analyser
such as www.mxtoolbox.com but was wondering if anybody knew of any tools
that could automate this process as we send 24 of these mails everyday and
when I come in on a Monday we I have 120+ to look through.
I was thinking of writing somekind of excel macro to produce the info but
thought I would ask here first in case somebody knows of a tool.
