email hyperlink

Hi

I am working on a website with Publish 2007. When I try to insert a email
hyperlink it doesn't work. I clink "insert" "hyperlink" click on email
address, put in my email address and hit okay, but it doesn't work. The area
that says: "Text to Display" is grayed out with <<selection in document>>.
I've done it before and it worked fine, I just can't get it to work now? Any
suggestions?

It sounds like you simply forgot to select the text or object before you
tried to insert the hyperlink.

Thanks for the response. However, I did select the text. Any other ideas?

You may have misinterpreted David's comment.

First on your page you type John Doe then select with the mouse John Doe and
then select Insert Hyperlink and put in John Doe's email address.

Perhaps you are using the trial software and it has expired?
