Email hyperlinks in OE 2000 SR1

For some reason none of my hyperlinks in the body of emails work. When I
click on them, it gives me an error: "The command line argument is not valid.
Verify the switch you are using". Any ideas why?
I'd appreciate any help!

Try resetting the registry entries. In IE click Tools>Interet
Options>Program>Reset Web Settings

It does open web page hyperlinks, but it doesn't open a "New Message" window
to reply to an email hyperlink. Keeps giving me an error: ""The command line
argument is not valid. Verify the switch you are using".
???
