Email merge from Publisher

I have just upgraded from Office 2003 to 2007, but now, when I try to
email-merge a publisher document, the email sent is created all fragmented,
that is, instead of a single image (I'm sending flyers), it's all in bits,
seperated, and generally looks really crap. Has anyone else had this problem?
I didn't have any worries in Publisher 2003, only since I've upgraded. I've
upgraded on 3 computers, and it does the same on all. Is there some new
settings I've missed?

I'm having the same problem in Word and I don't want to make an attachment.
Any ideas?

Not a Word person, but if I were to send a HTML email, I'd compose it in
Outlook.
