I have reinstalled windows xp on my computer and now when i type my email
name it does not automatically complete for me
i do not Know were to reset this option

You did not post your Outlook version.
Your description says very little. If you are talking about autocompletion,
reinstalling will usually make you start over with a new, empty
autocompletion cache.
