Email Nightmare

JF

Hi,

I have been checking my email several times daily with MS Outlook XP for the
past year with no problems.

Yesterday I clicked on Send/Receive as usual only to get the following
message: 'Outlook is unable to connect to your incoming (pop30 email
server.'

Nothing has changed in my settings - I've rechecked them all and they are
fine.

I then tried going into Outlook Express to try using exactly the same
settings, and it worked perfectly!

I've tried reinstalling Outlook XP and everything else I can think of, but
to no avail.

I'd really appreciate any help - my ISP don't want to know about me as they
say it's a software problem :-(

Regards,

JF

in outlook hit help/ detect and repair.

if that doesn't fix it. delete the account and then add it back in fresh.
