Email Notifications for Project Status Updates

I am using MS Project Server 2003 and am wondering how to turn on the
notification once a week for resources to go in and update their
status on tasks. Right now the only notifications that are being
sent out are when tasks should be started or finished and I have not
started or finished them yet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Actually ... what I meant to say instead of status was how do I send
automatic email notifications to resources for them to enter their hours
worked this week as wekk as hours to go on the task.

When creating a project and assigning resources to task you will need to
publish your project so that resources receive their assisgnments.

alert setting are located under "Updates" in PWA.

A user can also go to PWA to set his/her alerts under the task selection or
plug in Outlook and update task from outlook.
