email on a CD

I need to send several email messages to a contractor for
a project - they're not quite savvy enough for PST
creation and distribution however, I'm told there is a
much easier way to share this information (just not told
how).

How can I easily distribute 500MB worth of email and
attachments on a CD or DVD to a contractor such that it
is in an easily usable form?

Thanks

The options available depend on whether they have Outlook or not and how
many messages you're talking about.

Near side, they're running Outlook 2000 SR1 or later.
Far side is an unknown. We're talking about 1/2 Gig
worth of data - somewhere in the area of 4000 messages.

I'm hoping (faintly remember reading) that there is a way
to download those to CD allowing the contractor to view
them from the CD regardless of what email they're using
on the far end. Some sort of utility that leverages
Outlook Express or something.

Appreciate any help.
