I have installed and configured MS Project Server 2002 on
Windows Advanced Server 2000 with all latest service packs.
The same machine is also working as mail server. It is
receiving mails and sending mails to all other servers
like hotmail and yahoo.
My problem is when I assign a task to a resource, the
resource gets updated in his own Web Access home page but
he do not receive mail for the same.
If I specify an email account of the server itself, (for
eg. if server name is svr and I have one user usr, then I
specify [email protected]) to the MS Project User account, the
it receives email notification but when other servers
email account like that of hotmail or yahoo, then the user
do not get the email notification.
Please help, this is urgent.
