email protocols for Outlook 2003 on a HP computer with Vista

Does anyone know what the protocols are to enter through the Outlook 'Email
Accounts' change functions' so that I can receive emails? I keep getting POP3
and other error messages when I put in the email account information that
worked before on my XP machine.

If not, do you how I can get this help.

Well it would help if you posted the ENTIRE error messages.
"I keep getting POP3 and other error messages " is SO vague as to be
useless.

Ask your mail service provider for the correct settings.
