email reply problem

When I reply to an email, a Word document embeds itself in the reply. Also,
everytime I open a new word document the same document appears instead of a
blank one. The document happens to be a tax amendment letter I wrote in 2006.
It seems to have made itself my default document. Any suggestions are
appreciated.

Try deleting Normal.dot and letting Word recreate it.
