Email - Sending a Distribution List

How to I display only the Group Name (Distribution List
name) in the "To" box when I send email? I'm using
Outlook 2000.
I've already gone to:

After 2 hours of trying to follow the instructions, it's
not working. There seems to be a discrepancy regarding
Steps 3 and 5.
