email sending problem

I've just reset my email account for the ISP I've just changed to but can't
send email. When I send the following message arrives in my inbox immediately.


This system is not configured to relay mail from <[email protected]> to
<[email protected]> for 60-234-89-213.bitstream.orcon.net.nz

What am I missing out in my reseting process I wonder?

Hard to say without telling us exactly what you did and what you think is a
reset on your email account. Also, you didn't provide any configuration
information to work with.

By the info provided you need to make changes to your SMTP configuration.
Either enable it to use authentication or use the SMTP server of your local
ISP.
