Email sends 5 times?

From time to time, I will send an email to a person and it will be received
by them 5 or more times. I look in my "sent" folder and it only shows one
email being sent. I have tried sending myself an email and I have gotten it
to send me the message 3 times.

I'm using Outlook 2002

Any ideas?

Do you have any anti-virus or anti-spam software installed that is scanning
your outbound mail? If so, turn it off and see if the problem goes away.
Thre's mounting evidence that such software has been causing this problem
for a number of people. Could you post back with your results? I'm trying
to get a read on whether this really does solve the problem...

Yes, McAfee AV is loaded. I'll try to disable and see what happens. I will
post results in a few days.
