First you will need to get the ISP settings for your POP3 and SMTP from the
company who provides your Internet access. Then you will need to update
Office 97 (now unsupported - suggest you upgrade) with all relevant service
packs. Especially important is the Internet Mail Enhancement Patch from
Office Downloads.
