Email signature reply font problem

I am using Outlook 2003 on XP Pro and use Word as my email
editor. I have set my default font to Arial and have
checked "Always use my font". The trouble I have is when
I send a new email my font (Arial) is used and my
signature shows in Arial, but when I reply, Time New Roman
is the font that is used for my signature and the body of
the email is Arial. I created my signature using Arial,
but the signature defaults to Times New Roman in email
replies, while in new messages it remains in Arial. How
can I correct this.
