Are you running your own Windows Server (supporting ASP.net) w/ access to the bin folder?
- the instructions for installation are at

Unless you have full access to your server online or VisualStudio.Net you can't use it

lots of .net apps are like that.
I bought one for an image gallery/ client file manager and it was very
difficult to deploy remotely. beyond setting up the mssql database (which
makes one long for access or even the php my admin for the MySQL) I had to
contact the server admins and have them mark the root folder of the
application as a .net application. that seemed to be the trick. Oddly
enough the folder(s) taking the uploads didn't need to be marked. seems
like the application took care of that.

maybe he can just upload the folder, and contact the host to set it as a web
application?
