Email stops receiving messages

Outlook 2003, after about an hour of use, my email goes out, but does not
receive. I get a pop3 error. If I quit and restart Outlook it works for
about an hour.

Any suggestions?

What is the exact error? Did this ever work? What did you
install/uninstall just prior to it not working? Note: Nothing... is not a
good answer.

Yes, it did work and all of sudden, about 5 to 10 minutes it works and then
it stops. The error is that it is not getting a response from the server,
contact your ISP.

I did uninstall and re-install my emai account.

Do you have any anti-virus or anti-spam software checking your incoming
mail? If so see if turning of that scanning helps.
