My computer only allows me
Your computer is hardware. It doesn't do anything but run programs.
to receive a set number of emails.
Not an Outlook issue since it doesn't limit the number of downloaded
messages.
How do I
change the setting so I can receive unlimited emails?
Start looking into the anti-malware software that you installed on your
computer. Or contact your e-mail provider and ask them if they are
restricting how many messages can be retrieved per mail poll (but then
subsequent mail polls would retrieve the rest of your e-mails, anyway).
Outlook version?
Windows version?
Network/Internet connection type (dial-up, broadband, satellite)?
Type of e-mail account (POP, IMAP, HTTP, Exchange)?
With whom (your ISP or some other e-mail provider)?
Anything else that lets someone ELSE know what is your environment.
Usually you get one chance per potential respondent to elicit a reply
from them. If they skip your post because you gave them nothing to go
on (no details, no versions, no context), usually they will just move on
to the next post and never return to yours. Go read:
