emailing an attachment

Access97
We use a pc with Access97 and Outlook Express to send out automated
reports to a number of different email addresses each day. That works fine.

I would also like to be able to send out an email to the list of
addresses with a file attached (rather than an Access Object as at present).

Most of what I have read via Google etc seems dated and some of the
solutions rather complicated.

Is there a way of using Access97 VBA and OE to do this job?.

I wasn't really complaining, just observing, and with our requirements
and our using 97 we work on principal of "If it ain't broke don't fix
it". Access 97 is doing our wee job just fine.
I was really saying, "Hey, is there anything available NOW that might be
different or better than some of the old posts on the subject?"
Seems not.
