Emailing from IE 7 Pro

I cannot use File/Send/Page by Email or Link from my browser unless Outlook
is already open otherwise if I try to Email without first opening Outlook,
the browser and Outlook will freeze. What must I do to correct this annoying
problem which has recently occurred?

Outlook must be open to send anything. However, having said that,
Outlook/IE should not freeze.

Have you tried running scanpst.exe against your .pst file?

Milly Staples, thanks much for your reply. I have so many times used
File/Send/Email Page or Link without first opening Outlook 2007. When I
wanted to Email a page or Link it automatically opened Outlook from the
browser. In fact, I have Windows XP and one other computer, like this one,
that has Vista OS. I can utilize the stated steps without first opening
Outlook. There is something that is causing the system on this computer to
work differently. Again thank you for your reply.
