How do I email a finished presentation so that the recipient is unable to
make alterations to it?

I am using powerpoint 2000.

Well,....there are some nifty little programs available that promise to
make it difficult for another person to alter it, but in all honesty,
it is indeed never 100% tamper proof.

First off, if your target viewer ONLY has the Powerpoint viewer, then
they can't personally alter/edit it themselves anyway. BUT,...what I
usually do (and again, a good Powerpoint user will certainly get around
it) is Take my presentation and save it as a pps. THEN,..create a new
blank presentation with one slide and insert that PPS as an object. On
the blank slide go to insert object and locate the pps file yourself
and bring it in. Then re-size it to fit exactly into the blank slide.
There you go.
