Emailing select data from Excel automatically

Hi,

I'm building an Excel file to track equipment inspections for our shop and
am running into some problems I'm hoping someone can help me with.

First the basics, my file has a column for the pertinent info for each piece
of equipment being tracked, i.e. date of last inspection, type of inspection,
interval of inspection, date next inspection is due, and days remaining until
inspection is due. I have basic formulas set up so that when the date of
last inspection is updated the date due and days remaining columns update off
of it. Here's what I'd like to end up with, a tracker that will send out an
email to the inspection program monitors when a particular piece of equipment
is within say 2 days of inspection.

We have a central "shop" computer that we can use to run this file off of
with a general "shop" email account so that's not a problem, the program can
run all the time. I have found a macro that will generate and send email
that I've modified to work as long as I customize it for each piece of
equipment but I have to tell it to run. What I'm looking for is a way to
activate that macro when the counter gets down to 2 or, even better, a way
for it to pull the date from the sheet and automatically send it. I want
this to be hands off once we set it up and enter all the data into it so that
all we have to do is update the last inspection dates and it takes care of
the rest.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated! Thank you!
