Emailing Templates...

Hi,

I have created a form and want to email it to users outside of our company
to fill in, save and send back. Will this work or will it look for the form
template? The form is completely self enclosed - ie no connections to SQL or
sharepoint lists etc and the outside users have infopath installed

Thanks

Hi,
Are you sending only infopath form as attachment or are you sending any link
to
the form(sharepoint link).
If you send as an attchement, outside user must need publish the template to
locally.

Thanks for the reply

I am using 2003 and sending the template as an attachment. Will they be
able to open it, fill it in and send it back? or will they need to publish it
first?

Is there no way around that by any chance? Cant see that being easy for a
standard user?

Hi,

I have one question for you,
where you published your form( locally or share point or email publishing)?

Published it locally, then pasted it to an email. If I send it to an
internal user who dosent have permission to My documents (where it was
published) it still opens fine. How do you do email publishing?

Hi,

If you publish locally, Outsiders need to publish before opening the
attachment..
There is no emial publish option in infopath 2003, this option is available
in infopath 2007
