Hi,
Hope someone here can help...
I have Outlook 2003 (w/Microsoft Vista) set up to receive email via Gmail
using IMAP. All has been fine for 9-months however 1 week ago my emails
started being delayed getting to my inbox. I have done all the updates,
checked all the account info. The interesting thing is that I get the
notification envelope as well as the notification sound that email has
arrived however it does not appear for 10 minutes sometimes even 30 minutes
or longer... I receive email promptly on my TREO and online through my Gmail
account however it is delayed coming into Outlook. I have searched the
internet, used the "Inbox repair tool" and used the "logging" function based
on what others have said in other forums. Problem is, I don't know what
these things have found as I do not know how to see the "results" -- forgive
me, I am fairly good on a computer however many of the suggestions have been
in "computer" language that I don't understand.
Any thoughts on how to fix this? Again, all has been fine, I have not
changed anything, I have not downloaded any new programs etc...
