emails being marked as read

How do i stop emails being marked as read when i run a rule, with rules
wizard. The rule forwards incoming email from a specific account to another
email address.
However this marks the email as read.

Uncheck the "mark as read" action in the rule.

Thanks for your reply,

Unfortunately i have the "mark as read" option unchecked, any other ideas?

Maybe recreate the rule?

Can't hurt. If that's your only rule, consider starting with a clean slate.
Start Outlook with the /cleanrules command line switch to really empty them
out.
