Emails don’t appear immediately in Inbox

My emails from Microsoft Exchange don’t appear in my Inbox immediately. In
order for them to appear, I must do something else in Outlook like open
another email,

I’m running Outlook 2002, Windows XP SP2 with firewall disabled. I
installed Outlook from Remote installation point which included transform
file.


look in my calendar, etc for them to pop into my inbox.

Any ideas?
