Emails not being marked as read online

When i look at my emails in Entourage and I mark them as read, I then go to my email on the web and I have to select those same emails I just read and mark them as read.

Is there are way to have Entourage automatically mark those emails that I have read in Entourage as read in my web account online?

You could use IMAP instead of POP if your mail service supports it.

My own POP service marks messages online as read once they've been loaded
into Entourage, whether I've read them in Entourage or not. You might check
with your service provider to see how they handle POP downloads.

Hotmail is mail on a server which is what IMAP mail is. You can now download
Hotmail as POP.
