Embed OLE Excel Pivot Tables in Access Forms? Access v2003 and ff.

Hi,
With Access 2000 I had been able to create complex, multi-field,
"OLAP" queries and then convert them into Excel Pivot Tables via the
"old" Pivot Table Form Wizard.

That wizard built an embedded Excel OLE object into a form. The users
of this application know and love Excel pivots and want this
functionality (ie. Excel vs Access) continued.

Unfortunately, Access, from 2003 forward, seemed to want to create
their own version of a pivot table, via wizard. Not as good. Not as
rich. Not as appealing, especially with the Pivot capabilities of
Excel 07.

SO... I am assuming I can find some way in Excel 03 / 07, sans wizard,
to continue to create such embedded OLE excel pivots? But I can't
find how. Tried to look behind both the wizard-ed form and the
embedded excel sheet for clues and find very little info.

Does someone know a way?

At present I keep an old copy of Excel 2000 and go back and forth.
Kind of a hassle and someone must have come up with a better way.

Thanks in advance,
John
