embed online video on Powerpoint on Mac

Hi.
I'm trying to embed an online video in a Powerpoint file. I am working with
version 2008 on a Mac. I've read numerous posts online about using Active X
Controls but I can't locate this in the version that I am using.

Any help is appreciated?
