I read the thread about how to embedd mp3 files and have one question. If by
doing this, will I then be able to take my powerpoint presentation and the
sound will be able to playback on another computer? Thanks for any feedback.

Yes, when you successfully embed audio in PPT, it follows the presentation
from computer-to-computer.
