Embedded excel worksheets used to create graphs

I am trying to insert a graph in to a form or report, so I am wondering if it
is possible to export the data to an embedded Excel worksheet in an access
form and create the graph there. I can do this manually by copy and pasting
data in but I would like it to happen automatically and automatically update
as a greater amount of data is inserted into the database. It would be even
better if the graph could update to allow for the additional data as well. So
ultimately all the user has to do is to hit a button that launches the form
that contains a graph and behind it is the embedded excel worksheet. The
reason for not using access chart is due to the fact that many postings on
this website recommend excel graph functionality over access chart for easier
use and greater capability. Also access graph appears to be poorly installed
on my network and I would like to avoid have to get the IT guy to have to
reinstall access on the network just for me!

I really hope this is possible

Please Help, Thanks in advance.

Sorry, Mate

However, I have overcome this problem by getting Access graph 2000 wizard to
work. The issue that plagues me at the now is trying to get the graph to
interact with the query by using a combo box to determine the criteria. The
graph and the query all work perfectly until I try and get the query and
therefore the graph to alter when I put the combo box in as criteria.

I replied using OE6 via news.microsoft.com The first reply had attachments
and I wouldn't know how your reader or AccessMonster might handle that.
Pasting these links in a browser window should have worked though.

They're rather long to post in the body of a reply not to mention all the
line wrapping that would result. Do you have Outlook Express? If so you can
read these groups directly.
