Embedded font prob b/t ppt 2003 and ppt 2000

We have been trying to embed two TT fonts (Blast-O-Rama & Gill Sans MT) into
our presentations created in 2003 (all updated). We have tried both options
for saving the embed fonts (characters in use only and all characters). All
looks well on other 2003 machines, but on PPT 2000 platforms, the fonts are
sometimes, randomly, inversed (that is, a header created with Blast-O-Rama
will suddenly become Gill Sans, and on another page the body text created in
Gill Sans will become blast-o-rama). There seems to be very little pattern
to this random swapping. Any ideas or suggestions?
Thx,

Hi,

Or, I wonder, whether it is some strange font swapping problem like the
image swapping thing I saw back in PowerPoint 2002 days?

The round-tripping apparently did not solve the problem, as all fonts just
switched back over again. It looks like it comes about as soon as a previous
version opens the file and makes any changes--then the whole thing hits the
wall. Thanks for all your help--if I figure it out, I'll let you know!

Unfortunatly, Blast-O-Rama is the font that we use in all of our advertising,
so for consistency sake that is really the only option. Cheers,
