Embedded message show up with a "X" instead

Hi.

I've seen this before with Outlook 2003 [at least] as well as Outlook
Express. Someone forwards me an Email with some embedded images. I receive
them. If I forward [inline] the message [removing any header and footer
crap], the images show up in my outgoing message but recipients don't see the
message.

I've even tested by sending myself a forwarded inline message. While the
outgoing message had the embedded images, coming in didn't. Just an "X" where
the images was suppost to be.

Outlook 2003 is fully patched. Doesn't seem to make a difference which AV is
installed.
