Embedded Music Will Not Play PP 2002

I have created a presentation that includes animation, narration, and a music file in the first chart. The music and narration are set to play simultaneously while the animations are photos that fade in and out. When I play this presentation on my Windows 2000 laptop, I only hear the narration, no music. Also, what is the best way to put this presentation on CD for auto on other Windows PCs?

Are the background music and narration files the same file type? (That is, are they both WAVs?)
