EMBEDDED SPACE

I have created a web site utilizing a top and side shared
borders. I am having a problem where an embedded space
is automatically placed between the end of the left side
border and the begininning of the page content.

The line of code is as follows:

<td valign="top">

I am able to view this source code when looking at the
page in a browser. However, I am unable to view this
code within Front Page. My goal is to reduce the width
size to zero in order for the page to be flushed against
the left border. I can change the width size in the
browser html for the page to be viewed as my desire but
it is not a permanent fix. I have to repeat the change
each time the page is viewed within the browser.

Is it possible to change the width size within Front Page
so the page could be permantly viewed as I want it to be?

You can not remove or change the 24 px spacer cell added by shared borders
- use Include pages instead of shared borders
