embedding as image in word 2007 object from powerpoint 2007

I have a powerpoint SmartArt object and I want to copy it into word so it
can not be edited. The suggestions I find do not clearly tell me how to do
this.

In Word use Paste Special (click the arrow below Paste) and paste it as an
image.
