I have read some comments that users prefer embedded Excel charts to MSChart
charts in Access forms/reports. I've not done this before, and I am wondering
if the chart can still be based directly on a query, or does the query data
need to be transferred to a spreadsheet for Excel to create the chart? (I
understand the Excel instance will be hidden, hiding the spreadhseet as well,
but this seems like it would require a good deal of code when dealing with
data lists that vary in quantity.)
Also, I've run into a limitation with Excel charts when exceeding 16 ro 17
charts. If the embedded chart is in a report groupfooter and there are 30 or
more groups, will I run into the same limitation?
