Embedding or linking a PDF in Publisher 2000

I'm trying to embed or link a one page Acrobat (PDF) file
into Publisher 2000. When I do so, following the Windows
2000 and Publisher 2000 instructions for OLE, all I get is
the symbol for the file, not the contents of the file.
When I go to print, the symbol prints, not the contents.

I can of course copy and paste as a graphic, but the
resolution declines markedly.

Can anybody offer any suggestions on how to do this?

If you have the full version of Acrobat, save the pdf as an eps or tiff
file and place that in Pub.
