employee resume database

Hi,
we are looking to do some sort of resume database, and
havig it work like:

an employer can jump onto a webpage, use a login password,
select a category (say Electricians, for example, from a
drop down list) and be able to see a list of viewable
resumes that they could pick to contact a person for an
interview.

i've never used MS Frontpage, and was just wondering what
I would be getting into ?

Thanks
Aaron

Your best bet would be to find an existing package that creates such a web
app for you, if you do not have good programming skills.

I just meandered through the Ohio Department of Job and
Family Services website and see the use of ASP. FrontPage may
prove useful but like Dreamweaver, the promise of using an
application to auto-generate code can leave one painted into the
corner in all but the most simplistic applications. Do you have
some preconceived expectations?

FrontPage can be very useful if your requirements are interpreted
simplistically. What of 'scope creep' though?

What for example will constitute a résumé, how will the data in the
résumé be collected, how will the data in the résumé be displayed
and most importantly how will the data be edited or otherwise
managed? But a few of the many questions left unanswered.
