empty cache to force a re-sync and all my exchange email folders come down to the client (Entourage 2008) - every folder is empty on the client. In outlook or OWA each folder contains one mail message (test msg)

have uninstalled and reinstalled office 2008 and i have tried office 2004 each case i have rebuilt the database, created a new identity and cleared the cache. can send messages from Entourage and they get delivered, but they never show up in the Entourage client ... they do show up in the sent folders of Outlook and OWA. I have pointed Entourage to the exchange server, the OWA server and everything has the same outcome. The common denominator is empty mail folders. pull up the progress window and i can see the sync when a new message is sent to me, but it never shows up in the inbox folder under the server for exchange. I have checked every folder under Entourage to see if the message is ending up in some other folder , it is not.

Any ideas on where my troubleshooting should take me would be appreciated.

Thanks
Chris

You mention "sent" folders. Under Entourage menu --> Preferences... -->
Mail & News Preferences --> Compose, have you enabled "Save copies of
sent messages in the Sent Items folder"?
