Enable control on main form based on subform

Hello! I have a checkmark control on my subform that when the user checks
the control, I would like to have a different checkmark control on the main
form to automatially check. Can anyone give me code suggestions? Help is
greatly appreciated . Thanks!

If Me.chkWhatever = True Then
Me.Parent.chkOther = True
