Enable F7 key

My F7 key does not work when I am trying to do spell check. How do I turn
that function back on? I am using Microsoft Word 2000.

Ctrl+A to select the entire document. Then go to Tools | Language | Set
Language and make sure that the correct language is selected and that "Do
not check spelling or grammar" is not checked.
