Enable Macros

I have had to reinstall Windows and Office. Upon opening or closing Word, I
have to acknowledge a window that says "The macros in this project are
disabled. Please refer to the online help or documentation of the host
application to determine how to enable macros." What a nuisance!

I have gone to online help, I have inserted the Office installation CD and
followed the directions to get to VISUAL BASIC APPLICATIONS and click on
RUN FROM MY COMPUTER which downloads

I have reinstalled Word, tried to enable macros, and still not sucessful.

What can I do to enable macros and get rid of this window that constantly
tells me to enable macros?

Have you reset the macro security? click on Tools, Macros, Security and
set it to Low.
