Hi Richard,
With the language bar displayed in Word 2003, when you have
more than one keyboard language enabled, if you right click
on the Keyboard language indicator in the Language Bar and
then choose 'minimize' you should see the 'blue square'
language indicator in the Systray.
=======
No problem. Like you, most of the respondents to NG questions are
volunteers. I (and others who post questions, I hope) are grateful for
responses that you volunteers graciously offer.
I'll follow this thread for any other info that pops up. But I don't want
to put you or others to too much trouble because, by virtue of your
original response, I do have a satisfactory way to operate: it's just not
my ideal.
Best wishes,
Richard <RLMuller at Comcast dot Net> >>

Yes, I have been busy with other matters (this is volunteer work when I get
the chance) and I don't always monitor the Office groups since Outlook is my
specialty.

For the problem of the button with the language symbol, let me check a few
things and get back to you.
