Enabling a disabled addin

Hello,

Whilst debugging, my add-in crashed and Office asked whether id liek to
disable it, i clicked on "yes" accidentaly. How do i enable it back on?

I have tried going into customise-> addins-> selecting my addin-> checking
the checkbox.. (a few times actually) still no luck.

The addin does not load.

Any help would be great.

Up to Office 2003 : Help menu -> Info : Click on "Deactivated elements" and
remove your addin from that list
Office 2007 : Tools->Trust Center -> Addins -> choose Deactivated elements
from the combo box at the bottom and click "goto".

Hello,

For Word 2007.

hmm.. i cant find Tools. i did the following:-
Right click-> Customise Q/A toolbar ->
Trust Center-> Trust Center settings (bottom right) ->Addins -> only three
options come up.. nothing at the bottom or any relevant options..

Could you upload a screenshot of where Tools is?
I googled but no luck. Is there a way to turn the Ribbon UI off and revert
to classic toolbar look?

Cheers

Oh, forgot: It is in the main menu which you get when clicking on the large
Office icon in the top left corner of Word.
Right on the bottom of that menu you have "Word options". That opens a
dialog where you can select Add-Ins on the left side. Then you find a combo
box at the bottom where you should find "Deactivated items".

I am translating the names manually from a German Office, so don't take the
names as exact ones.

No, the Ribbon is not optional

The addin shows up if i rebuild -> install -> F5 to debug
