Does anyone know the details of what Access is doing when a database is
encoded?
Specifically: what are the effect on performance (via ADO)? is the
database decoded for every connection? every query? how protected is
an encoded access database? can it be decoded outside of Access?
I can find plenty of information on how to do it, but nothing on the
pros/cons.
